RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead all security related efforts for Motus IT
  • Maximize efficiency in system protection, networks, data, software, and information systems to guard against potential attacks. 
  • Perform vulnerability testing and security checks and establish a threat analysis schedule.
  • Conduct ongoing research on cybersecurity. Stay abreast of validation procedures, security systems, and emerging threats.
  • Monitor internet safety problems and work cohesively with Motus IT department and managed service providers to craft dynamic solutions.
  • Work closely with other security personnel (internal and external) to ensure complete protection for Motus, Motus customers and Motus supply chain.
  • Be responsible for all audits and policies within the security framework.
  • Deliver technical reports and test findings with actionable preventative solutions.
  • Deep understanding of network and systems administration
    • Active Directory, OKTA, Office 365
    • Firewalls, networks, routers, switches, SDWAN

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors or Technical Degree
  • 5 – 7 years of experience in a technical role
  • Ability to research, assess risk and create secure frameworks.
  • Ability to identify cyber security gaps within the company
  • Working knowledge of Information Security Management Systems
  • Working knowledge of potential threats such as social engineering, phishing, and networks
  • Ability to conduct penetration and vulnerability testing, analyze results and create remediation plans.
  • Act as an ethical hacker to determine the security of Motus’ systems and the vulnerabilities of concern to clients.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows, MAC OS, Linux, ongoing upgrades, and new systems.
