Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to identify and mitigate potential cybersecurity risks for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring security events, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing security measures to safeguard our clients' data and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for staying updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
Key Responsibilities:
● Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
● Monitor security events and conduct investigations to determine the cause and extent of security breaches.
● Implement and manage security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software, to prevent unauthorized access.
● Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
● Work with cross-functional teams to provide security awareness training and ensure adherence to security protocols.
● Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and proactively suggest strategies to mitigate risks.
● Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning and execution.
● Prepare and present detailed reports to management on the status of security risks and breaches.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
● At least 3 years of experience in a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role.
● Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and network/web-related protocols.
● Experience working with security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
● Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification is preferred.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
