The position is located in the Information Technology (IT) Directorate, Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Headquarters of the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) located in Arlington, Virginia.
The primary purpose of this position is to perform work relating to system security, optimization, compliance, deployment, troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of ABMC (IT) systems.
For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled.
Basic Qualifications

AND
Specialized Experience: For the GS- 13 level: Applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-12); or its non-Federal equivalent that demonstrates: Applying cybersecurity principles and security controls to protect enterprise networks, systems, and cloud environments, including identity and access management, encryption, continuous monitoring, secure configuration, and automation; Analyzing and supporting enterprise IT architectures to advance cloud modernization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives aligned with organizational objectives; Planning, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining network and cloud infrastructure; Managing connectivity requirements, monitoring performance, resolving service issues, and enforcing cybersecurity standards; Supporting FISMA assessments and audits by developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and security documentation in accordance with NIST frameworks, risk management requirements, and applicable federal security controls.
